Types Of Ketogenic Diet

By Maria Gerhard  Posted on March 11, 2020
Types Of Ketogenic Diet

There are three major types of ketogenic diet, and they are all beneficial to your health. Eventually, the best kind of ketogenic diet that you follow will greatly depend on your goals, and that’s what is covered in this article. However, if you are just looking for a way to lose weight and keep it off, or you are recovering from an injury and are concerned about a low carb diet, then there is a good chance that any ketogenic diet will work for you. The three most common types of diets include the South Beach, Atkins and paleo diets.

The South Beach diet is often confused with the South Beach Diet. However, they are two separate diets. The South Beach diet advocates limiting carbohydrates while the South Beach Diet promotes eating as much protein and unsaturated fat as possible. Also, South Beach Dieters can enjoy unlimited amounts of fruit, vegetables and whole wheat pasta and beans. They do not restrict their calories at any cost!

The other two most popular diets include the Atkins and the Primal Defense. The Atkins diet advocates severely restricting the amount of carbohydrates you eat, but they leave the fats and proteins that are typically found in a standard ketogenic diet. The Primal Defense does the same with proteins but leaves the fats and carbohydrates that are typically found in the standard ketogenic diet. The reason these two diets are so popular is because they work!

MCTS or Monosodium Glutamate is a relatively new supplement that has recently been introduced into the market. The main claim to fame of MCTS is that it raises your metabolism and causes your body to burn fat more efficiently. In addition, it causes your body to use muscle for energy, rather than fat. This is how it differs from the other two popular diets – the Atkins and the South Beach.

As with any type of diet, ketogenic dieting requires moderation. In addition to being extremely healthy, ketogenic dieting is also extremely effective in weight loss. Unlike other types of dieting where your weight loss progress stops once you reach a certain point (such as the South Beach Diet), the MCTS diet keeps your calorie intake constant and continues to allow your body to burn fat as a primary source of fuel.

Ketones are produced when you take in enough carbohydrates and fats. Ketones are released throughout your body at a rate of up to three times your normal metabolic rate. While they are most commonly found in the liver, they can also be used in the brain and heart. If you are on one of the other two ketogenic diets (a low carb or low fat diet), you will experience zero or very little carb absorption when taking in your calories, this is where the MCTS diet comes in.

MCTS or Monofloral Trans fat free supplements work by preventing the body from using fat for energy. MCTS increase your ketone production, which means that you will burn fat while keeping your body satisfied and not starving. By keeping your body active, you will be able to keep your weight the same or even lose some of it when you reach the stage where you stop putting on weight due to food deprivation. While you will not be eating the standard diet, which is composed of mostly carbohydrates, you will still be getting all the essential vitamins and minerals that are part of a normal balanced diet. Since these supplements use MCTS, you won’t be getting the harmful effects of the standard diet, which can include high cholesterol and hypertension.

The MCTS diet is especially helpful for individuals that have kidney disease and high blood pressure as well as diabetes. In addition, it helps those with weight issues that do not respond well to other diets. MCTS have been shown in clinical trials to improve ketosis when used in conjunction with a low-carb, high-fiber diet. If you are looking to lose weight and keep it off, ketogenic diets can be a good choice as it combines the benefits of a healthy, well balanced diet with the help of MCTS.
